Bioactive peptides of Pheretima Aspergillum improve tissue nutrition, stimulate regeneration, and have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Beeswax has an emollient effect and reduces transepidermal water loss. It forms a film on the skin surface and serves as a protective barrier. β-carotene found in beeswax is a source of vitamin A which inhibits collagen degradation and stimulates mitotic division in the epidermis to enhance skin regeneration after damage.
