Pelargo liquid
Pelargo throat/oral cavity liquid is a combination herbal preparation with three extracts: pelargonium extract, olive lief extract, and aloe vera extract. It is used for treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of throat and oral cavity and may be used for prophylactic to reduce susceptibility to respiratory infections.
Pelargo throat liquid has immunomodulatory, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-cold, moisturizing, emollient, protective, and cytoprotective properties.
It helps improve clinical condition, prevents complications, and facilitates reducing the duration of a cold.
Pelargonium extract contains polyphenols, umckalin, coumarin, and essential oils and has antiviral and antibacterial effects.
The immunomodulatory effect is achieved through modulating interferon synthesis, activating macrophage phagocytic activity, etc.
The antibacterial effect is achieved through blocking the molecules responsible for bacterial adhesion to the mucosa. The cytoprotective and antioxidant properties promote recovery of mucosa.
Olive leaves contain oleuropein, polyphenols, bioflavonoids, and triterpenes, which exhibit apparent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Aloe vera extract contains barbaloin which has a moisturizing, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and regenerating effect.
Peppermint oil has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Glycerin moisturizes the throat and oral mucosa and has cleansing and emollient effects.
Purified water, glycerin, ethanol, pelargonium extract (umckalin content in original pelargonium extract is not less than 2000 ppm), olive leaf extract, aloe vera extract, mint flavour, peppermint oil, sucralose, sodium benzoate, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate. 1 dose (5 ml) of solution contains not less than 0.12 mg of umckalin.
For topical use.
Use as diluted solution. Mix 5 ml of the product (measured with a dose-measuring cup) with 15 ml of warm water in a glass. Prepare solution immediately before use. Do not store the prepared solution.
For use in children, ensure that your child has understood and mastered the gargling technique. Younger children should gargle under supervision by an adult.
Adults and children aged over 3 years should use the throat/oral cavity liquid 2-3 times daily.
